Are you planning a vacation and wondering what to do with your greyhound while you are away? MI REGAP's Vacation Home Program offers you an option where your greyhound can stay with a fellow greyhound buddy.

Here's how it works: Simply complete and submit the online vacation home form and your contact information will be added to our Vacation Home Program Database. Once you begin making your vacation plans please contact our Vacation Home Program Coordinator via email as soon as possible. Our coordinator will provide you with a list of greyhound owners in your area. You then can begin contacting these families to find one that is able to
take your greyhound for the duration of your time away.

It is strongly recommended that you interview each prospective vacation home and determine if they can properly care for your greyhound (i.e., cats, other animals in the home, leashing, crating, feeding, behavior of children in the home, etc.). MI REGAP is simply providing this listing of vacation homes as a courtesy to our adopters. Any arrangements made between the parties involved to care for another person's greyhounds are private.

Keep in mind that by being a part of our Vacation Home Database, you will also be contacted by other greyhound families who would like a fellow greyhound owner to watch their greyhound. This does not mean you are obligated to say "yes", but the program is designed to be reciprocal whenever possible.

The Vacation Home Program is only available for MI REGAP families at this time.

Just like you enjoy getting away to swanky hotels or spending time out of town with family, your greyhound may enjoy taking a retreat to a greyhound companion's villa too!!
